- BMC Certified Professional certifications granted by passing a live practical exam expire three years from the date that you pass the exam. BMC Certified Professional certifications granted by passing an online proctored exam expire two years from the date that you pass the exam. Recertification is required so you are up to date on the latest version of the solution and maintain current standing within the community.
- BMC Certified Expert certifications expire two years from the date that you pass the exam. Recertification is required so you are up to date on the latest version of the solution and maintain current standing within the community.
To recertify, the same process is followed as in the original certification process. If you need to acquire new product knowledge you can take the accreditation and certification preparation training courses. If you have already the product knowledge for the current version, you can directly take the accreditation exam or respectively the certification exams.
